Chester L. Douglass III (Buck), 55, of Sumter, S.C., passed away unexpectedly on March 10 in Sumter, S.C. Buck was born on Nov. 10, 1959 at Shaw Air Force Base in Sumter, S.C.
He was predeceased by parents, Chester L. Douglass II and Fumiko Douglass; grandparents, Chester L. Douglass, and Bernice M. Douglass.
He is survived by daughter, Heather Belt of Charlotte, N.C.; granddaughter, Hazel Belt of Charlotte, N.C.; stepmother, Shelby Douglass of Clover, S.C.; aunts, Marjory Taylor of Ocala, Fla., Florence York of Nobleboro, and Mary Grady of Waldoboro; and several cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Sat., March 28 at Elmore, Canon & Stevens Funeral Home, 515 Miller Rd., Sumter, S.C.
