Christine Paulette Davidson, 63, a resident of Old Route One, died Oct. 13 at Miles Memorial Hospital in Damariscotta, after a long illness.
She was born Sept. 16, 1943, in San Diego, Cal., the daughter of Robert E. and Yvonne Marie Weir Martin.
She was a graduate of Escondido, Cal. High School, and Palamar and Woodbury Colleges, graduating with a major in art.
She worked briefly at the University of Southern California.
In 1970, Christine married Karl Davidson in Escondido, Cal. In 1988, Christine and her family moved to Waldoboro.
She was employed by Anchor Realty as a real estate agent, and for the last eight years, was a receptionist with Central Lincoln County YMCA in Damariscotta.
She loved to read, etch glass, and was well known for her green thumb, at one time having almost 100 plants inside her home.
Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Karl L. Davidson, of Waldoboro; son, Erik K. Davidson and wife Lisa of China; grandchildren, Norah and Breckon Davidson of China; brothers, Gerald Joe Martin of Jackson, Mo., and Kenneth Wayne Martin, Sr. of California.
Memorial service 2 p.m., Mon., Oct. 23 at Hall Funeral Home, 949 Main St., Waldoboro.
