Christopher Todd St. Louis, 31, of Dixmont, passed away on Aug. 3.
He was born Oct. 30, 1975 in Lincoln, son of Andrew St. Louis and Dawna (Michaud) St. Louis.
Chris fished out of Damariscotta for several years and was, for a while, the youngest boat captain in Maine. He loved Maine and the Maine woods, loved hunting and fishing. One of his companions on many of these outdoor trips was his son, Mason. Through Chris, Mason learned to love the Maine woods. They went camping and four-wheeling together. Chris also enjoyed family gatherings.
He was a master craftsman, specializing in hardwood floors and finish work.
He was predeceased by his grandfather, Walter Michaud; and step-grandfather, Richard Fish.
Chris is survived by his mother, Dawna St. Louis and partner Debbie Esparza-St. Louis; father, Andrew St. Louis and partner Carol Clark; son, Mason W. St. Louis and his mother Jessica York; girlfriend, Lisa Velcher and daughter Marina; grandparents, Charlotte Fish and Charles and Dorothy St. Louis; step-grandmother, Nancy Michaud; aunts, Karen and husband Jim, Jenise and husband Alain, Kiki and husband Mark, Lesia, Melanie and husband Curtis, Deanna and husband Bob, Traci and fiancé Pete, and Brenda and husband Bruce; uncle, Shannon and wife Heidi; and 29 cousins.
Celebration of Christopher’s life 10 a.m., Wed., Aug. 8 at Birmingham Funeral Home, 438 Main St., Old Town. Chris would want everyone to come casually dressed.
Interment 2 p.m., Fri., Aug. 10 at Lawndale Cemetery.
