Cindy Lee Fales, 55, of Warren, passed away peacefully on Dec. 21 at her home with her mother by her side.
Cindy was born June 20, 1957 at the Knox Hospital in Rockland. She was the daughter of Rae and Russell Fales of Warren.
She was an animal lover, and as a child she loved spending time with her pony “Sugar.” Cindy attended the Coastal Workshop in Camden where she enjoyed outings and made many friends. She loved listening to country music, swimming at the lake, collecting beads, coloring and doing puzzles.
She always looked forward to her 5 o’clock soda break and watching “Dukes of Hazzard.” Cindy enjoyed spending her winters in Florida, and summers on Crawford Lake. She had a noontime ritual of singing the “Star Spangled Banner” and waving her flag. Cindy truly touched many lives and could put a smile on anyone’s face.
She was preceded in death by her father, Russell Fales, who died June 13, 2007.
In addition to her mother, Rae Fales of Warren, Cindy is survived by sister, Donna Creamer and husband Craig of Warren; brother, Rusty Fales and wife Jean of Warren; niece, Jill Simmons and husband Jamie; nephew, Chris Creamer and wife Marcie; great-nieces, Courtney Simmons, Erika Simmons, Paige Simmons, Chelsea Creamer, Brooke Creamer, and Mylie Creamer; and aunts, Jill Pottle and husband Lewville and Annette Overlock.

The service will still be held at 1 p.m., Thurs., Jan. 3, but will now take place at the Strong-Hancock Funeral Home, 612 Main St., Damariscotta.
