Cynthia Anne Shaw, 56, of North Conway, N.H., formerly of Wiscasset, died unexpectedly Jan. 27 with her family by her side.
Cindy, or CiCi as her grandchildren called her, was born Jan. 11, 1956 in Bangor, the daughter of Milford and Nancy Shaw of Bar Harbor. She was devoted to Hannaford Brothers Co., North Conway, N.H., for 30 years where she worked in customer service. She had also worked for Hannaford Brothers in Damariscotta and Boothbay Harbor. Cindy’s greatest joys were her children and grandchildren. She had a passion for the Christmas season, which she celebrated year round.
CiCi is survived by her parents; companion, John Carroll; children, Patricia Grant and husband Nick, Robert Beal and wife Brooke, and Benjamin Beal and wife Ida; greatest loves, Aiden, Taylor, Cameron, Makenzie, Avery and Daniel; sisters, Belinda Harris, Melissa Cook and husband Fred, and Amanda Horton and husband Mathew; and also by her beloved dog, Zoe.
Celebration of life 12-3 p.m., Thurs., Feb. 2 at McKay’s Public House, 231 Main St., Bar Harbor.
