Daniel S. Hlovac Sr., 57, of Jefferson, left this earth on July 27 at the local veterans hospital, after a long battle with cancer. He was a man who enjoyed being outdoors doing many different activities such as hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a thoughtful man and he could always make a good joke. He was born on March 8, 1959 in Ohio and raised there.
He leaves behind wife, Marcia Hlovac (Sinerius), originally from Montana, they would have celebrated 28 years of marriage this coming October; daughter, Rachel Allen (Hlovac), husband Nathaniel Allen, and their two children Charlotte and Cole Allen; son, Daniel S Hlovac Jr. and wife Melissa Hlovac (Harney); as well as several sisters; and one brother; and many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 12 p.m., Thurs., Aug. 11 at the Veterans Mount Vernon Cemetery in Augusta.
