David Parker, 77, of Newcastle, died June 14 at Maine Medical Center.
He was born March 23, 1931, son of Horton and Rosamond Parker in Newark, N.J.
David graduated from Kimball Union Academy in Meriden, N.H. and attended Fordham University in New York City, N.Y.
Mr. Parker was brought up in Glen Rock, N.J. and moved to Maine in 1965. His interests included nature and the woods and he loved reading, woodcarving, and magic.
He is survived by a brother James Parker of Fernandina Beach, Fla., a niece and nephews.
Services will be private at a later date.
