David W. Ezzell, 51, passed away unexpectedly on Nov. 20 at his home.
He was born in Bath on Dec. 13, 1955, to Virginia and Earlie Ezzell of Wiscasset.
He married Lori A. Poole on Nov. 17, 1978 in South Bristol. They resided in Wiscasset all their married life.
David was always tinkering mechanically with cars and, most recently, worked with A&J Auto Sales in Litchfield.
He loved fishing with his buds, camping, going to the movies with his beloved wife and spending time with family and friends. Friends were most important to him and he was always there in time of need.
His father, Earlie and daughter, Sarah Lynn Ezzell predeceased him.
Surviving are his beloved wife, Lori of 29 years; son, James Ezzell; mother, Virginia Ezzell; in-laws, Raymond and Lillian Poole; three brothers; three sisters; two brothers-in-law; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and many friends who loved him dearly.
Services 1 p.m., Sun., Dec. 9 at the Newcastle-Alna Baptist Church, Rt. 194, Alna with Pastor Rick Newell officiating.
Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Strong Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 612 Main St., Damariscotta.
