Reverend David W. Powell, Jr. passed away peacefully at his home in Parksley, Va. on May 29. He was the son of the late Margaret and David Powell. David and his wife had managed the Old Fort Cabins in Pemaquid in the past.
A retired pastor, David is survived by his loving wife Juliett Powell; son; daughter; devoted step-daughter; two brothers; five beloved grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Memorial service 10:45 a.m., Tues., June 9 at the Simpson House, 2101 Belmont Ave., Philadelphia, Penn.
