Diana H. Bailey, 66, of Kensington, N.H., died at her home on Oct. 16 after a lengthy illness. She was born in Exeter, N.H. on May 29, 1942, the daughter of the late Robert and Barbara (Perfect) Cooper.
Formerly a longtime resident of the Damariscotta area, Diana and her husband of 37 years, Jonathan K. Bailey, spent their winters in New Bern, N.C.
She and Jonathan co-owned Perry’s Nut House in Belfast and enjoyed renovating and restoring old homes. She also had a love of Morgan horses and enjoyed driving horse drawn carriages.
She was predeceased two sons, Jeffrey Costello and Mark Bailey.
In addition to her husband of Kensington, N.H., she is survived by her daughter Sallyann Hunter of West Chester, Penn.; four grandchildren; sister, Elizabeth Cooper of Lawrence, Mass., and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held privately by the family.
