Diane Clara “Dee Dee” Weymouth, 46, of Fairfield, died peacefully Sept. 7 at the Oak Grove Center in Waterville after a long battle with liver disease.
Dee Dee was born July 22, 1964 at Miles Memorial Hospital in Damariscotta, to Richard and Jean Weymouth. She began her education in a one-room schoolhouse in Dresden before continuing and finishing her education in the Winthrop school system, from which she graduated in 1982. She then attended Wheelock University in Boston and the University of Maine at Farmington.
Dee Dee married Paul Bellmore in 1985 and lived in Monmouth before moving to Albuquerque, N.M., for three years. She then moved back to Monmouth, later lived in Skowhegan and, finally, Fairfield.
She worked for many years as a meter reader for Central Maine Power Co. She enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing, and spending time with family and friends.
She was predeceased by her mother, Jean Weymouth, and her brother, Mark “Buddy” Weymouth.
She is survived by son, Andrew Bellmore of Farmington; father, Richard Weymouth of Rockwood; brothers, Rick Weymouth of Nobleboro and Bruce Weymouth of Monmouth; sister, Debbie Weymouth of North Wayne; as well as several nieces and nephews.
At her request, a private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
