Diane Jones, 73, formerly of Nobleboro, passed away Feb. 6 in Florida, with her husband at her side after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease.
She was born in New Jersey on June 25, 1941, the daughter of Henry and Florence (Hazelton) Reiche.
After raising her family in New Jersey, Diane and her husband, Al, moved to Nobleboro in the late 70s. She had various jobs around Damariscotta including at what used to be Shop ‘N Save and until her retirement, she worked at Poole Bros. for nearly 20 years.
Diane enjoyed living on Pemaquid Lake and all it had to offer all year round. She and her husband were long time members of the Route 66 Snowmobile Club. Diane loved to travel around the U.S., but always loved to come home to Maine and the lake.
She is survived by her husband, Allan Jones of St. James City, Fla., formerly of Nobleboro; daughter, Debra Lee Sidelinger and husband Paul of Newcastle; son, Gary A.
