Dinah F. (Crockett) Hardy, 72, of Waldoboro, died Nov. 10 at LincolnHealth – Miles Campus in Damariscotta after a battle with chronic illness. She was born in Thomaston on July 23, 1946, the daughter of Maynard and Dorothy (Spear) Crockett.
She was a CNA CRMA and Activities Coordinator at Camden Health Care Center (now Quarry Hill). A lover of all animals, she was especially fond of her clowder of cats, pack of dogs, and endless array of farm animals. She was also a member of the Midcoast Bird Fanciers Association. She attended the Church of Christ in Augusta.
Dinah was predeceased by brothers, Maynard and Albert Crockett; sisters, Ruth Bradley, and Lottie Chase; and son-in-law, Bradley Rosie.
She is survived by her loving partner of 25 years, Leo Aubin; daughters, Robin Rosie of Monroe, Roxanna Jones and husband Michael of Washington; sons, Richard Royer Jr. and wife Amy of Brooks, and Rodney Royer and wife Corinne of Tenants Harbor; grandchildren, Ryan and Alicia Rosie, Richard and Evan Camber, Zach Armstrong, Abigail St. Valle, Jeremy and Justin Larrabee, and Lauren Abbate; seven great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held from 12-1 p.m., Fri., Nov. 16 followed by 1 p.m. funeral service at the Hall Funeral Home, 949 Main St., Waldoboro.
