Donald Strong Chatfield, 92, of Pemaquid Harbor, died Oct. 21.
He was born on June 18, 1918 in New Haven, Conn. and graduated from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 1940 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He worked for many years in the aerospace industry.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Dorothy (Ferrary) Chatfield; children, Judith Nevius, Donald Chatfield Jr. and Marion Chatfield; as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Private graveside service will be held at the Harrington Cemetery in Pemaquid.
