Donald W. Latham, 79, of Waldoboro, and formerly of Milford, Conn., died July 5 at home.
He was born in Bridgeport, Conn. on July 3, 1928.
Don will be remembered as a hard worker. He was employed by Brockenberry Brothers Septics and Joseph Gentra Apartments. Most recently he worked with Rapid City Cleaners of Milford, Conn. for 35 years.
Don is survived by his children, Diane Cooper and husband Esau of Auburn, Carol Whitney of Oakland, Linda Hood and husband Doug of New Haven, Conn., Bonnie Penney and partner Linda Papineau of Waldoboro, and Chip Hersom and wife Cheryl of Sidney; 11 grandchildren; and life-long friend and companion, Faith Lavorgna of Waldoboro.
A gathering to celebrate Don’s life will be held in Connecticut at a later date.
Arrangements are under the direction of Coast of Maine Cremation and Funeral Service, Waldoboro.
