Donna R. Cunningham, 75, of Nobleboro, passed away on the morning of Oct. 20 at Cove’s Edge in Damariscotta.
The daughter of Carroll and Alma (McDougal) Rice, she was born in Damariscotta on April 28, 1932.
For many years Donna served as a driver for Coastal Transportation throughout the region. She had a lifelong love for camping and fishing in Northern Maine, but her greatest love was for her husband, children and grandchildren.
She leaves her loving husband of 55 years, Fernald A. Cunningham; children, Phillip C. Cunningham, Owen F. Cunningham, and Vonceal Grant; four grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
Donna will be laid to rest with a private graveside service at the Dunbar Cemetery in Nobleboro.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to one’s local Diabetes Foundation, or Cove’s Edge Nursing Home, Skilled Unit, 26 Schooner St., Damariscotta, ME 04543.
Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Strong Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 612 Main St., Damariscotta.
