Dwight Paine, 81, of Waldoboro, finally joined his beloved wife in heaven on June 30. He died at home after his brave battle with cancer.
Dwight was predeceased by his wife Nancy Paine who died July 20, 2010.
He leaves behind his daughter, Doreen Weiss and granddaughter, Tammy Witham, both of Waldoboro; son, Jerry Paine and wife Carolyn, granddaughters, Holli Paine, Heidi Kambour and great-grandson, Tanner Kambour, all of Florida; sisters, Barbara McGlauflin of Boothbay Harbor and Judy Latter of Wiscasset, along with their families; and last but not least, his best friends, his dogs, Snuggles and Angie.
A service will be announced. Burial will be in the Orff-Achorn Cemetery in Waldoboro.
