Edgar Greenlaw Bradley, of Boothbay Harbor and Woolwich, passed away on Feb. 23. He was born Oct. 11, 1937 in Maine to parents Melville Greenlaw Bradley and Flora Hunnewell.
Edgar was a master mechanic with a passion for Ford and Harley Davidson products. He earned a pilot’s license in 1997 and owned a single prop Cessna aircraft.
He lived a colorful life in many ways. He represented local beverage company Hosma soda in several radio advertisements.
An animal lover, Edgar had many cats over his lifetime. He gave them unusual names and recounted stories about their activities.
He is predeceased by his brother, John Bradley of Boothbay Harbor and sister, Gertrude Baker of Woolwich.
He is survived by son, Kenneth Greenlaw Bradley of Boothbay Harbor, and sisters, Victoria Schumacher of Falmouth and Sadie Dow of Portland.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers a donation to Cats Northeast in Mansfield Center, Conn. or the Coastal Humane Society in Brunswick be made in his memory.
Services will be held at 1 p.m., Sat., June 8 at Murphy’s Corner Cemetery in Woolwich.
