Edmond Vaillancourt, 84, of Eastford, Conn., husband of Jean Vaillancourt, passed away Dec. 18, 2014 at Windham Hospital.
Ed was born April 7, 1930 in Willimantic, Conn. He resided with his wife in Waldoboro and in Zephyrhills, Fla. during the winter months.
He served in the U.S. Army from 1948 to 1951.
Ed is predeceased by his step-son, Michael DeVeau.
Survivors include wife, Jean Vaillancourt; son, Anthony DeVeau; brother, Bertron Vaillancourt; granddaughter, Shaina DeVeau; and step-children, James DeVeau, Norma Jean Burns, and Lorraine Smith.
Services were held Jan. 10 at Potters Funeral Home and burial was at St. Joseph Cemetery.
