Edward N. Weymouth, 48, of Gorham, died unexpectedly, Oct. 6 at Maine Medical Center.
He was born in Portland, Dec. 20, 1963, the son of Norman and Adelaide (Miller) Weymouth. He grew up in West Gardiner and attended Gardiner schools, graduating from Gardiner High School. He went on to graduate from the University of Maine in Orono with a degree in computer science. Ed moved to the Portland area shortly after graduation and worked for Work Group Technology Partners for a number of years.
Ed enjoyed hunting and fishing, golf, skiing, pick-up basketball, tennis, and wallyball. He enjoyed spending time on both Moosehead and Cobbossee lakes. He was involved with his children and their activities and did some coaching in youth sports. He also had a passion for travel.
Ed is survived by his parents, Norman and Adelaide of West Gardiner; children, Aiden and Edward Weymouth of Gorham; brother, Andrew Weymouth of West Gardiner; along with several aunts and uncles in Lincoln County.
Memorial celebration of Ed’s life 2 p.m., Sat., Oct. 13 at the Manchester Community Church.
