Eileen Marie Plummer, 67, of Augusta, passed away Oct. 26. She was born on Aug. 26, 1947 and grew up in Sheepscot. Eileen worked at the phone company where she met and then married Eugene Dubord. They had three children and lived in Jefferson. Eileen moved to Augusta in 1988, where she went to the University of Maine in Augusta and graduated with a Masters Degree in Social Services.
Eileen volunteered at Women, Work and Community, and Rape Crisis. She was a good mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, teaching through example to protect and love others above all else. She enjoyed collecting dolls and other treasures, especially ones that reminded her of her family.
Eileen was predeceased by her mother and father, Ethel (Carney) Plummer and Donald Plummer; ex-husband, Eugene U. Dubord; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Eileen was survived by sister, Dianne Davis of Rockland; brother, Paul Plummer of Wiscasset; sister, Beverley Weatherhead of Damariscotta; brother, Mark Plummer and spouse Crystal of Sheepscot; sons, Rosewell E. Dubord and spouse Roxanne of Waldoboro, and Donald S. Dubord and spouse Melissa Kelley of Gardiner; daughter, Naomi E. Williams and spouse Donald of Vassalboro; grandchildren, Amanda Dubord of Waldoboro, Rosewell Dubord of Damariscotta, Loralia Dubord of Gardiner, Brittany Dubord of Gardiner, Dustin Dubord of Gardiner, Danielle Sevey of Skowhegan, and Dominique McRae of Vassalboro; great-grandchildren Alex, Natalie and Annabella of Waldoboro, Connor and Liam of Damariscotta, Brody of Skowhegan, and Xander of Gardiner; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held 1-3 p.m., Sun., Nov. 23 at the Sheepscot Community (Harriet Bird) Club House in Sheepscot.
