Eli Raymond Dyer, 47, died unexpectedly on March 17.
He was born April 15, 1959 in Bridgeton, son of Lewis and Margaret Liberty Dyer, Sr.
He attended schools in Bridgeton and Warren, graduating from Medomak Valley High School, Class of 1978. He was employed for many years at Atlantic Laboratories in Waldoboro.
Eli’s biggest passion was fishing, hunting and a good game of golf. He enjoyed outdoor activities with his nephew, Mathew Dyer, and fishing buddies. He will be missed by his family and friends for his sense of humor.
He is survived by his parents, Lewis Dyer, Sr. and Janet Dyer Perry of Warren, and Richard and Margaret Ward of Fryeburg; sons, Eli R. Dyer, Jr. and fiancée Nichole of Bridgeton, and Jared Dyer and wife Amanda of East Conway, N.H.; brothers, Thomas Dyer and wife Kathy of Harrison, Lewis Dyer, Jr. and wife Patti of Harrison, and Michael Ward of Fryeburg; sisters, Elizabeth Dyer of Warren, Lori Dinsmore and husband Melvaney of Warren, and Corinna Goodwin and husband Mike of Bridgeton; grandchildren, Crista, Makyra, and Bradlee; and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Memorial service 2 p.m., Sat., March 31 at Hall Funeral Home, 949 Main St., Waldoboro. A gathering will follow the service at the St. George Lodge #16 AF & AM Masonic Hall, Rt. 90, Warren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Eli and Jared Dyer, c/o Janet Dyer Perry, 237 Keating Rd., Warren, ME 04864 to help defray the expenses due to the sudden death of their father.
