Elizabeth Emery, 99, of Alna, died Sept. 5 at her residence.
She was born in Bar Harbor on Aug. 28, 1911, a daughter of Raymond and Mabel Emery. She graduated from Augusta High School and Augusta Normal School.
Elizabeth was employed as a nanny for many years in Massachusetts.
She was a member of the Newcastle-Alna Baptist Church and the Alna Garden Club.
She is survived by a sister-in-law, Phyllis Emery of Scarborough; half sister, Eleanor Murray of New Sharon; and many nieces and nephews.
Graveside service 2 p.m., Tues., Sept. 7 at the Alna Cemetery in Alna.
