Eric R. Workman, 39, of New Harbor, passed away unexpectedly on Sept. 6 in Waldoboro. Born in Alameda, Cal. on Sept. 17, 1969, he was the son of Clifford “Skip” and Paula (Bercel) Workman.
Eric spent his early years in California before moving to New Harbor. He graduated from the Bristol Consolidated School and attended Lincoln Academy.
Eric was a great artist and had gotten into tattooing to showcase his talents. Above all, he was a very loyal person to those he cared about. Nothing meant more to him than his family and friends.
He was predeceased by his mother, Paula (Bercel) Workman.
He is survived by his father, Skip Workman of New Harbor; three brothers, Robert “Bobby” Boutelle of Nobleboro, Jesse Workman of Colorado, and Gary Workman of Chamberlain; girlfriend, Jackie Holland of Waldoboro; and step-mother, Shelly Workman of Chamberlain.
Time for family and friends to share stories, 3-5 p.m., Sun., Sept. 13 at the Wells-Hussey American Legion Post #42 in Damariscotta. Please bring a dish to share at the gathering. Private interment will take place at a later date. The family requests that you bring any photos you might have of Eric, either directly to them or to the gathering on Sunday.
