Ethel M. Latham, 96, of Pemaquid, passed away on the morning of Dec. 3 at Mount St. Joseph’s nursing care in Waterville.
The daughter of Hugh and Bertha (Perley) McLean, she was born in New Brunswick, Canada on Sept. 4, 1910.
She married Cecil R. Latham on Oct. 9, 1937.
She moved to Vassalboro in 1954 and worked as a trust officer for Merrill Trust Company. The couple retired in 1973 to their beloved home in Pemaquid.
Ethel leaves a brother, Frank McLean of Northwood, N.H.; and several nieces and nephews.
Private services will be held in the spring.
Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Strong Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 612 Main St., Damariscotta.
