Eugene F. Walsh, 102, of Newcastle, passed away peacefully at his home on the morning of Aug. 13, 2019. Born on Feb. 23, 1917 in St. Louis, Mo., he was the son of Patrick and Louise (Burkhart) Walsh.
A service, with Coast Guard Honors, will be held in the coming weeks. A full obituary, and service details, will be published in next week’s edition of The Lincoln County News.
