Faye Marie (Cunha) Anderson, 70, of Rockport, Mass., wife of the late Robert G. Anderson, passed away Oct. 30, at the Addison Gilbert Hospital.
She was born in Gloucester, Mass., Jan. 2, 1938. She was predeceased by her parents.
She spent a small part of her childhood in West Gloucester, but the remainder of her childhood with her beloved grandparents, Henry and Linda Hendrickson, in Pigeon Cove.
She was very proud of her Finnish heritage and was a long time member of the Spiran Lodge in Rockport. She was a devoted mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her five children and their spouses; ten grandchildren and their spouses, and two great-grandchildren. Susan and Thomas Hammer of Nobleboro, Lindy and Roger Emerson of Rockport, Mass., Judi and Steve Cocotas of Rockport, Mass., Douglas Anderson of Rockport, Mass., and Scott and Leah Anderson of Gloucester, Mass.; grandchildren, Adam Cahoon and fiancée Britta Pierson, Megan (Cahoon) Currier and husband Brock, Brian Cahoon, Shannon (Emerson) and Joel Finks, Brittany Emerson, and Katie Emerson, Nicholas Cocotas and Rebecca Cocotas, Jacob Anderson wife Kristin, and their children, Riley-Jane and Cayden, and Chloe Anderson; brother, David Cunhas and wife Sandy; aunt, Fannie Pommet; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours 5-8 p.m., Mon., Nov. 3 at the funeral home. Funeral service 10 a.m., Tues., Nov. 4 in the Burgess & Mackey Funeral Home, 20l Main St., Rockport. Family and friends are cordially invited to attend. Burial will be held in Locust Grove Cemetery, Lanesville.
