Florence Gilbert McGrath Hawes passed away on Sept. 29. Florence Hawes lived well past her 103rd birthday. She lived a full life on both sides of this country. She was born in New Harbor to the Gilbert family.
Florence is survived by son, Phillip McGrath, his daughter Betsy Jeu De Vine, and her daughter Lindsey Jeu De Vine; daughter, Phyllis Packer and children Tom Packer, Mike Packer and Claudia Feurrey; great-grandchildren, Carolyn, Christopher, Claire, Meredith, Shannon, Matthew, Sarah and Nicholas.
Graveside ceremony 11 a.m., Sat., Oct. 7 at Valley Oak Griffin Mortuary, Westlake Village, Cal.
