Floyd L Dunn Sr., 80, of Arrowsic, entered into peaceful rest Feb. 12 at his home with his devoted family by his side. He was the beloved husband of Dolores (Forte) Dunn.
Mr. Dunn was born on March 13, 1933 in Machias, son of the late Clarence and Lucy (Pagent) Dunn. He resided in Arrowsic since 1963, formerly of Machias.
Floyd attended school in Bath and was a U.S. Army veteran and worked at Bath Iron Works as a pipe fitter for 30 years. Floyd loved spending time with his family and his grandchildren, also spending time on Sibley Pond with family and friends. He was an avid outdoorsman, loved hunting, fishing, and always had a project in hand.
Floyd is predeceased by his former wife, June (Lawrence) Dunn; brother, Clarence Dunn Jr.; and sister, Nancy (Dunn) Wallace.
Floyd leaves his loving family, son, Floyd Dunn Jr. and wife Sally; daughters, Melody (Dunn) Fitzherbert and husband David, and Elisa (Dunn) Bradford and husband John; grandchildren, Lucy, David, Becky, Tim, and Jared; great-grandchild, Greyson; extended family, Ann Dunn and family, Steven and Lisa Dunn and family, Donna and Rick Markey and family, Jeff and Christy Dunn and family; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held in the spring of 2014.
