Frances “Sanny” (Poland) Rinehart, 60, of Camden, died Feb. 9 after a long illness at Pen Bay Medical Center. Born in Bremen on Sept. 16, 1950, she was the daughter of Ernest James and Arlene L. (Butler) Poland. She attended schools in Bremen and later received her GED. A homemaker for most of her life, Sanny raised her two sons. On Aug. 15, 1987, she married Leonard “Lee” Rinehart in Bremen. After their marriage, they moved to Vinalhaven where they lived until moving to Rockland in 2002.

She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, going shopping, and loved dogs and cats. She was a faithful volunteer at Shore Village Nursing Home in Rockland when her husband, Leonard Rinehart was a resident there.
A former resident of Waldoboro, Vinalhaven, Rankin Center and Knox Center for Long Term Care in Rockland, in 2010 Sanny moved to Windward Gardens in Camden. She was a member of the Vinalhaven VFW Auxiliary.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Eric Jackson; second husband, Leonard “Lee” Rinehart; and infant son, Ronald B. Jackson.
Surviving are her children, Bruce E. Jackson and companion Victoria Hildings of Waldoboro and James D. Jackson and girlfriend Lisa of Sangerville; stepchildren, Elizabeth Rinehart and fiancé Michael Cavallero and Kenneth Rinehart; grandchildren, Tina, Nicole, Brittany, James Jr., Hannah, Jacob, Shelby, Alexis and Mina; brothers, Ernest Poland and wife Colleen of Bristol, Ronald Poland and wife Ruth and Bruce Poland, all of Bremen; sisters, Ann Bunker and husband Sam of Lewiston, Leatrice Archer and husband Robert of Brunswick and Lois Burnham and husband Fred of Newcastle; and many nieces and nephews.
