Frank J. Mosier, 76, of Woolwich, died Dec. 6 at Maine Medical Center in Portland.
He was born in Everett, Mass. on June 11, 1935, a son of Harvey L. and Rena P. (Colby) Mosier.
He graduated from Morse High School in the class of 1953 and was employed by Harry C. Crooker & Sons for 39 years. On June 28, 1974 he married Betsy Smith.
He was a member of the Coastal Rusty Nuts Car Club.
He was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed car shows. He looked forward to long rides with his wife, enjoying the sights of nature and always stopping whenever they came across an old car or truck. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends at the Point. His passion was time spent with his grandchildren.
He was predeceased by one son, Frank James Mosier Jr.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Betsy Mosier of Woolwich; daughters, Judy Rowe of Woolwich, and Edie Bailey and longtime companion Tony Milligan of Woolwich; sons, Larry Mosier and wife Kathy of Phippsburg, Tony Mosier and longtime companion Theresa Russell of Woolwich, and Dennis Mosier and wife Vicki of Woolwich; stepdaughters, Dorraine Dewley and husband Truman Jr. of Freeport, and Barbara Greenleaf and husband Albert Jr. of Westport Island; brothers, Russell Mosier of Westport Island, Richard Mosier of Florida, Robert Mosier and wife Suk of New Hampshire, and Herbert Mosier of South Carolina; sisters, Anna Mosier of Carthage, Jean Wallace of Westport Island, Helen Delano and husband Douglas of Westport Island, and Marylyn Bailey and husband David of Wiscasset; many grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours 6-8 p.m., Mon., Dec. 12 at Daigle Funeral Home, 819 High St., Bath. Funeral service 2 p.m., Tues., Dec. 13 at the funeral home.
