Frank J. Leathers Sr., 27, of Waldoboro, died Feb. 10 in Waldoboro. He was born April 23, 1985 in Augusta. He grew up in Waldoboro and attended A.D. Gray school and Medomak Valley High School. He received his GED. He worked at various jobs all over the area.
He enjoyed hunting rabbit and also deer hunting. He loved to out-hunt his stepfather. He enjoyed spending time with his children and his family. He also enjoyed fishing.
He is survived by his mother and step-father, Ada and Donald Lowberg of Waldoboro; father, Ralph Leathers of Swanville; maternal grandparents, Frank and Erika Harvey of Belfast; paternal grandmother, Mildred Belyea of Northport; daughter, Faith Hope Leathers; son, Frank James Leathers Jr. of Morrill; brothers, David Steven Leathers of Swanville, and Earl Wayne Leathers of Waldoboro; sister, Erika Susan McKinney of California; nephew, who was like a brother, Chance Scott Leathers; and several half-brothers and sisters, nieces, nephews, uncles and cousins.
