Franklin C. Fairservice, Sr., 87, of Wiscasset, passed away peacefully at home on Feb. 18.
He was born in Wiscasset on Feb. 26, 1921, the son of Franklin C. and Lucy Clarke Fairservice.
Franklin worked as a 1st Class Pipe Coverer for Bath Iron Works for 43 years. For three of those years he was subcontracted to work for Maine Yankee Atomic Plant.
He dearly loved Wiscasset, its history and its people.
Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Pauline; brother, Stanley Sr. and wife Patsy; three children; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Respecting his wishes, there will be a private graveside service in the spring.
Arrangements are by Daigle Funeral Home, 40 Federal St., Wiscasset.
