Gail Glidden Quinn, of Portland, passed away Dec. 10, 2010.
The daughter of Ralph and Evelyn Glidden, she was born on Oct. 6, 1935 in Whitefield, N.H. She attended schools, graduated and resided in Waldoboro, where she met her husband of 52 years, Horatio “Bud” Quinn.
Gail was a housewife and mother who enjoyed playing the piano, crafting and watching movies. She loved animals and her dog Louie who was her constant companion. She also served as president of the USM Lifeline Pulmonary Support Group for several years.
Gail is survived by her husband, Horatio “Bud” Quinn of Portland; daughter, Susan Quinn Seavey of Portland; son, Patrick Quinn and wife Barb of Roy, Utah; grandsons, Daniel Alan Seavey and Jack Dalton Quinn; sister, Marion Glidden Osier of Waldoboro; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She will be interred 2 p.m., Wed., Aug. 24 at Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, Mt. Vernon Rd., Augusta.
