Friends and neighbors of Gaylord “Steve” Jinno, who passed away July 31, are invited to a celebration of his life. His children Mioshi Tobi and Jennifer Casad and long time neighbor Doug Wright invite his friends to gather at Doug Wright’s place, 625 Head Tide Rd., Whitefield on Saturday afternoon and evening Sept. 11, for a potluck supper and campfire celebration. Kitchen and grill provided. Gather from 3 p.m. onward, celebration to go quiet around 10 p.m., tents and sleeping bags welcome and encouraged for a safe party. Memorial Vespers at sundown.
