George R. Spinney, 86, of Wiscasset, passed away on the afternoon of May 8 at Cove’s Edge in Damariscotta. Friends are invited to be with the family from 6-8 p.m., Thurs., May 10 at Strong Funeral Home in Damariscotta. A service to honor Mr. Spinney will be at 11 a.m., Fri., May 11, also at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest with his son at the Pine Knoll Cemetery in Newcastle.
