George W. Cochrane III, 88, died peacefully on Jan. 9 with his loving family by his side. He was born on Aug. 24, 1927, to the late George W. Cochrane Jr. of Melrose, Mass., and Doris (Garnett) Cochrane of Eastport.
A celebration of life will be held at the Boothbay Congregational Church at 12 p.m., Sat., June 4 with a reception to follow at Hodgdon Yacht Service, 100 Ebenecook Rd., Southport.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in George’s name to the St. Andrews Village, 145 Emery Lane, Boothbay Harbor, ME 04537.
