Geraldine B. Paradis, 83, of Windsor, died Jan. 26 at Augusta Rehabilitation Center after a brief illness. She was born in Pemaquid on Nov. 4, 1925, the daughter of Roscoe Crocker and Nora (Reeves) Crocker.
Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Paradis was employed by Willowcrest Nursing Home in Pittston for several years. She was previously employed by local shoe manufacturers for many years.
She was predeceased by her husband, Alphie J. Paradis, on Nov. 25, 2008; parents; four sisters; and a brother.
Survivors include her two sons, Rawson Barter of Pittston, and Frank Landry of Lewiston; daughter, Valerie Brown of Standish; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
There will be no public visiting hours. Committal prayers 2 p.m., Mon., Feb. 2 in the chapel of Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Mount Vernon Rd., Augusta.
