Gloria Gamage, 83, of South Bristol, passed away on the afternoon of May 3 at Cove’s Edge in Damariscotta. Born in South Bristol on July 8, 1934, she was the daughter of Kenneth and Hazel (Plummer) Chipman.
Gloria loved lobstering with her husband Arnold, and riding her mopeds. In recent years, she enjoyed playing bingo at Cove’s Edge.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Arnold Gamage Sr.; and sons, Troy and Gerald.
Gloria is survived by sons, Arnold Gamage Jr. and wife Gail, and Gregory Gamage and wife Charlene; sister, Patricia Poland and husband Arthur; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
An hour of visitation will be held from 5-6 p.m., Thurs., May 10 at the Strong-Hancock Funeral Home, 612 Main St., Damariscotta. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Fri., May 11 at the West Bristol Cemetery in Walpole.
