Gloria Jean Kelley, 72, of Wiscasset, died Feb. 21 at Mid Coast Hospital in Brunswick after a long illness.
She was born in Alna on June 6, 1942, a daughter of Florence and Edward (Weaver) Spencer. She attended Waldoboro schools and Waldoboro High School. She moved to Bradford, R.I. where she was employed as an inspector at Bradford Dyer Association. On May 5, 2007 she married Newman Kelley.
Gloria enjoyed quilting, gardening, croqueting, and cooking.
She was predeceased by sisters, Helen Neilson and Blanch Cunningham; and brothers, Richard Spencer and Robert Spencer.
She is survived by her husband, Newman Kelley of Wiscasset; sons, Tyrone Keener of Rhode Island, Todd Keener of Pennsylvania, and Toby Keener of Arizona; sisters, Irene Turner, Edith Achorn and husband Paul, and Evelyn Winchenback; several grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
There will be no services.
