Gregori Steven Jackson, 18, of Whitefield, died on Sept. 23 in Waldoboro.
He was born in Brunswick on Jan. 13, 1989, a son of Millard and Natalie Hinckley Jackson.
Greg attended Whitefield School, Erskine Academy and Cony High School. He was loving, kind and a good friend to everyone. He loved animals, playing basketball, poker, Frisbee golf, and hiking. He was a good kid who loved to spend time with his family. He had a heart of gold.
He was predeceased by his maternal grandfathers, Donald Hinckley and Lowell Cunningham, Jr.; paternal grandparents, Barbara and Levi Jackson; and aunt, Sophia Cunningham.
He is survived by his parents of Whitefield; maternal grandmother, Shura Cunningham of Pittston; brother, Daniel Marcoux of Augusta; sisters, Nadia Marcoux of Ocala, Fla. and Sonya Jackson of Whitefield; uncles, Levi Jackson of Sidney, John Cunningham and Steve Cunningham, both of Whitefield, Robert, Timothy and Thomas Cunningham, all of Pittston; aunts, Cindy Corum of Virginia, Amy White of Clinton, Shirley Dostie of Fairfield, Sharon McKibbon of Farmingdale, and Kathy Clark of Bowdoinham; several cousins, great aunts, and great uncles; and numerous friends that loved him.
Visiting hours 4-7 p.m., Fri., Sept. 28 at Staples Funeral Home, 53 Brunswick Ave., Gardiner where a funeral service will be held 1 p.m., Sat., Sept. 29.
Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery, Gardiner.
