Harold H. Stover, 81, of Boothbay, died Jan. 21.
He was born Sept. 2, 1929 to Henry and Carrie (Jackson) Stover.
He retired from BIW in 1991. Harold worked at Boothbay Railway Museum for a number of years and was a member of the Masons.
He enjoyed woodworking, puzzles and feeding the birds and especially being with his grandchildren.
He is predeceased by his parents; sisters, Hattie Herring, Josephine Ramsey, and Virginia Givens; and brother, Manley Stover.
He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Joan; daughter, Emily Swizdor and husband Larry and Lorna Gordon and husband Dan; grandchildren, Christopher Hogdgon and wife Becky, Pete Seiders and wife Jess and family, Anastasia Swizdor, Devon Colby, Matthew Justin and Alyssa Hyson; stepchildren, Karen Hyson and Neal Hyson and fiancée Kaite Cray; great-grandchildren, Brian, Bussler-Swizdor; nieces and nephews and special friends, Uncle Frankie and Auntie Linda Elwell and Jody and Ann Murray.
Celebration of his life Sat., Feb. 26 at the Legion Hall, Boothbay.
