Harry T. Patten, 71, of Dresden, died at his home Nov. 19 following a long illness. He was born Aug. 7, 1940, a son of Allen Lester Patten Sr. and Gladys Pearl Frost Patten.
Harry was a truck driver for Harry C. Crocker for 21 years. He enjoyed working on cars and being with his family.
He was predeceased by a brother Allen Lester Patten Jr.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Mary Etta Newton Patten of Dresden; children, Rhonda Neilson and husband Eric of Belgrade Lakes, Joseph T. Patten of Dresden, and Honey May Curtis and husband Carl of Columbia, S.C.; sisters, Barbara A. Maschino and husband Richard of Pittston, Dorothy P. Freeman and husband Kenneth of Whitefield, and Linda E. Baker of Augusta; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Celebration of his life 11 a.m. – 2 p.m., Sat., Nov. 26 at the East Baptist Church, Farley Rd., Brunswick.
