Holman Taylor McLean, 84, of Damariscotta, formerly of Nashua, N.H., passed peacefully on June 15 at Coves Edge in Damariscotta.
He was born on April 24, 1923 in St. George, a son of the late Thomas and Mildred (Page) McLean. Holman was educated in the local Maine schools.
He was a resident of Nashua, N.H. for over 30 years, and was employed at a Buick dealership as a car salesman. After he retired, Holman and his wife, Jennie, spent their winters in Florida and summers in Maine. They enjoyed traveling and spending time together.
Holman is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Jennie (Kudalis) McLean of Damariscotta; sister, Evangeline Johnson and husband Louis of Thomaston; sister-in-law, Josephine Clemons of Nashua, N.H.; brother-in-law, Anthony Kudalis and wife Connie of Nashua, N.H.; a few nieces and nephews; and several great-great-nieces and nephews.
There will be no calling hours.
Service 1 p.m., Tues., June 19 at the Zis-Sweeney Funeral Home, 26 Kinsley St., Nashua, N.H. Burial will follow at the Edgewood Cemetery in Nashua, N.H.
