Ida C. Humphrey, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of Nov. 8 with her family by her side. Ida was born on Feb. 17, 1931 at her aunt’s home in North Waldoboro to Fernando and Alice Grotton Webber, the last of seven children.
She married her beloved high school sweetheart, Gordon B. Humphrey on May 28, 1949. She and Gordon were lifelong residents of South Bristol, except for two years when she accompanied her husband to Tennessee, Kentucky and Germany while he served in the Army.
