Isabel C. Starke, 101, passed away on March 26 in Hilton Head, S.C. She was born on March 25, 1915 in Yonkers, N.Y. and most recently resided in New Harbor, and Hilton Head, S.C.
She was an English teacher at Red Lion High School, Red Lion, Penn. after raising two children, Nancy Brewer of Cincinnati, Ohio, and John P. Starke Jr. of Claremont, Cal., who also summer in New Harbor. Ms. Starke, who was preceded in death by her husband, John P. Starke, is also survived by eight grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
Services were held at the First Presbyterian Church, Hilton Head, S.C.
