Jane E. Cullen-McOsker, 62, of Nashua, N.H., died Jan. 25 at the Southern New Hampshire Medical Center. She was the beloved wife of Frederick J. McOsker, with whom she would have celebrated their 21st wedding anniversary on Oct. 16.
Born in Newton, Mass. on April 18, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Albert H. Cullen and Joyce (Munsey) Cullen of Nashua, N.H. who survives her.
Jane was a graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and received her master’s degree from Fitchburg State College.
Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a teacher for the Lowell Public School System. A teacher for over 30 years, she taught at several different schools. Most recently, she was at the Bailey School where she taught fourth grade, pre-kindergarten, and special education. She was a member of the Retired Massachusetts Teacher’s Association.
Jane enjoyed gardening and reading, but especially cherished summers spent with her family in Round Pond.
She was also predeceased by father-in-law, Frederick L. McOsker.
In addition to her husband and mother, she leaves a brother, Michael Cullen and wife Janet of Nashua, N.H.; step-children, Allyson McOsker of Chelmsford, Mass., Matthew McOsker and wife Elizabeth of Glastonbury, Conn., and Kerry McOsker of Somerville, Mass.; several nieces and nephews, among whom are Paul Cullen and wife Aimee Christian of Muespach, France, and David Cullen and wife Julie of Burlington, Mass.; several great-nieces and nephews among whom are Seth, Fiona, Thomas and Shane Cullen; mother-in-law, Mary McOsker of Lowell, Mass.; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Joanne and Thomas Duggan of Chelmsford, Mass., Brenda Dupras of Lowell, Mass., Thomas and Cynthia McOsker of So. Portland, and Martha and Jeffrey Dean of Northbridge, Mass.
Relatives and friends are invited to Jane’s memorial visitation from 2-6 p.m., Sat., Jan. 31 at the McKenna-Ouellette Funeral Home, 327 Hildreth St., Lowell, Mass. Burial will be held this summer at the New Harbor Cemetery.
