Janet J. Campbell, 98, of Boothbay, passed away peacefully on Oct. 9 at Boothbay Green Eldercare Facility in Boothbay.
Janet taught Sunday school and Bible school during the summer months and was a member of the Boothbay Baptist Church. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister-in-law, aunt, and housewife.
Janet was born in Wyckoff Township, N.J., the daughter of Lydia Smith and Uipko Stonehouse.
She was predeceased by her husband, George A. Campbell.
Janet is survived by son, George L. Campbell and wife Lisa of Boothbay; grandsons, Scott Campbell (Sarah Bartley) of Boothbay, and Ronnie Campbell and wife Jamie of Boothbay Harbor; great-grandsons, Tyler, Austin and Brody of Boothbay; great-granddaughters, Kailee and Brianna of Boothbay Harbor; sister-in-law, Jean Stonehouse of New Jersey; and several nieces and nephews of New Jersey and Florida.
There will be graveside service at 11 a.m., Fri., Oct. 13 at Oaklawn Cemetery in Boothbay Harbor.
