Jannette Marie Ezzell, 55, of Winslow, passed unexpectedly at home the afternoon of Jan. 18. She was born to Earlie and Virginia Ezzell, April 26, 1957 in Bath.
Jan was a beautiful, fun-loving, easy going, creative, thoughtful, kind and passionate woman. She loved ceramics, birds, walking, nature, cooking, music, dancing, laughing and spending time with family and friends. She was as comfortable sitting on a rock by the water, watching butterflies and picking flowers, as she was at a social function, making friends with everyone in the room.
What brought Jan the most joy in life were her boys and their children. Proud of their every accomplishment, she remembered birthdays and holidays without fail, and anticipated each visit. Her home is covered with their photographs and memorabilia.
Jan was predeceased by son, Jessie Ezzell.
She is survived by her partner of 28 years, Jim Forten of Winslow; sons, Keith and Jason Hunter of Wiscasset; grandchildren, Keara, Oliver, Everett, London, and Anneliese; and countless family, friends and loved ones.
Gathering of remembrance for Jannette Marie Ezzell 3-5 p.m., Sat., Jan. 26 at Veilleux Funeral Home, 8 Elm St., Waterville.
A celebration of her life will be held in the spring on her family property at the Jackson Cemetery in Wiscasset.
