Jason W. Jewett, 24, of Jefferson, died Aug. 27 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.
Born March 8, 1984 in Augusta, Jason lived in Jefferson with his parents and sister. He was a 2002 graduate of Erskine Academy.
Jason was a dedicated employee for Frank Monroe Construction and developed his love of operating commercial vehicles through the mentoring of his grandfather, James Moody.
Jason loved to ride his motorcycle, snowmobile, fish and hunt with his father. One of Jason’s favorite ways to spend time was with his sweetheart of many years, Lindsey Hayes. He was a kind and gentle person with a quick smile and tender heart.
He is survived by his parents, Jeffery C. and Pamela J. (Moody) Jewett of Jefferson; sister, Lindsey of Jefferson; grandparents, James and Vicky Moody and Keith and Beverly Jewett from Jefferson; many aunts, uncles, and cousins, and the love of his life, Lindsey Hayes of Jefferson.
Visiting hours Aug. 31 at Plummer Funeral Home, 983 Ridge Rd., Windsor. Funeral service Sept. 1 at the First Baptist Church of Jefferson.
